  The INPUT Appeal - Donations

Pain does not kill: it demoralises and incapacitates. Activities of daily living such as going out to a restaurant or watching your children in a school play become excruciating, and eventually inaccessible for some sufferers.

To help improve the quality of life for patients on the programme, we gladly accept donations from anybody with an interest in helping overcome the debilitating effects of chronic pain and it's affect on quality of life.

£10 will purchase an information pack with helpful strategies on how to manage life in chronic pain, how to manage flare-ups and anxiety, and daily stretches.

£20 will provide plants and aquatic life for the conservatory, where patients have an opportunity to meet and share thoughts and feelings around living with chronic pain in a healing and calm environment.

£50 will help re-decorate the Input patient accommodation, providing a comfortable resting place for patients, important for restoration of health and function.

£100 will purchase gym and audio-visual equipment used to provide physical therapy and allow patients to view their own progress over the course of treatment to see for themselves the progress they have made.

Input donations have already funded many projects n the unit, but there is still much more to be done.

To donate, please go to our secure online donation page on or send a cheque payable to "GSTT Charity Input" to:
