Programmes for Patients

Case study 1

The time spent at INPUT was immensely valuable in helping me to cope with my pain and helping me to do things in spite of it. All my tolerances have improved, I can go walking again and have been able to play tennis and table tennis again. I have completed a degree and am thinking of further study. My social life has improved, I can go to the cinema or for a meal without the pain making it impossible.

Best of all, I was able to have another baby! Katherine is now almost 16 months and life is getting much easier. My back has continued to improve despite having a baby and was very good during the pregnancy as well. I am so pleased that I came to INPUT, otherwise Katherine would not exist! So it has definitely been a life-changing experience for me. I hope other women on the programme who are thinking about having a baby will be encouraged by my experience.

About 5 years ago a couple of discs in my lower back prolapsed. I used to be a painter & decorator as well as a driving instructor.
